Arriving & Leaving the School Grounds

A reminder that students are not to be on school grounds before 8.15am. A group of students are arriving at school before 8am. Please make sure your child is not leaving from home too early in the morning and arriving at school too early.

We cannot guarantee they are supervised prior to 8.15am. If your child is in need of care before 8am, they should be placed in before school care and be dropped at the appropriate time. Parents will be notified in writing if their child/children are presenting at school too early.

Use of playgrounds or sporting equipment is NOT allowed before school, even under parent supervision. This includes the K/P area. This sends the wrong message to other students, without parents present, and makes the rules inconsistent and difficult to police. Please do not be offended if a staff member reminds you or your child of this if this rule is broken. After the 8.30 siren, parents are required to leave the grounds as soon as possible, as gates will be locked by 8.45am. Currently, they are locked at 9am. However, this will be brought forward from Term 2. This is for security reasons.

After School
Please leave the school grounds promptly at the end of each day. Gates will be locked at 3.10pm from the beginning of next term . Students should not be hanging around the school grounds with parents or on their own. This often leads to problems occurring, sometimes even between parents, when an issue breaks out between children. The use of playgrounds or sporting equipment is NOT allowed after school, even under parent supervision. This includes the K/P area.
